Weekend warriors in their 30s have the highest rate of achilles ruptures. One of the factors that makes you prone to this injury is a tight heel cord. Ladies if you wear heels all the time you are contributing to this tightness.

Anterior knee pain?

If you are dealing with pain around the knee cap than you need to exercise your hips and knees. A recent study in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy found that a 4 week program of stretching and strengthening the knee resulted in less pain at 3, 6, and 12 months.
